Serves 4 | 45 min cooking time | 15 min preparation time

  • 800 g mixed tomatoes

  • 2 tablespoons Bister Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • A few basil leaves

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 roll puff pastry

  • Salt and freshly ground pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 100°c

  2. Wash and slice tomatoes thinly, or halve lengthwise for cherry tomatoes.

  3. Place the pastry in a pie dish and prick the base. Bake for 5 minutes.

  4. Remove pastry from oven. Put the Bister Dijon mustard on the bottom, add the tomatoes on top in a thick layer. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Brush tomatoes with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

  6. Return to the oven at 180° for around 40 minutes, depending on the power of your oven.

  7. When the tomatoes are golden brown, remove the tart from the oven and add the basil leaves.

Tip: For a more gourmet dish, crumble some feta or goat's cheese over the top and serve warm - it's a delight!
